KIX Service - Change in NZ Port Rotation, AKL Omission Tianjin Bridge 147/148
12/1/2021
Dear Value Client,
Please note below received from ANL yesterday afternoon.
***
Please be advised due to anticipated severe delays to berth at Auckland, the Tianjin Bridge 147/148 will omit Auckland on her current rotation and change rotation on the NZ coast in order to mitigate ongoing service delays. In order to expedite delivery of Auckland bound import cargo the vessel has made an adhoc call to Tauranga first for import discharge operations, and will have an additional call to Northport in the service rotation in order to complete the discharge operations for Auckland import cargo, thereby avoiding up to two weeks idle time awaiting a berth in this force majeure situation. The scheduled call to Northport on this voyage will be a discharge only call. Further information on the arrangements for collection of import cargo discharging at Northport will be published in due course. Export cargo currently booked for loading from Auckland on this vessel will be transferred to the next available sailing. The Customer Care team will be in contact with impacted booking parties to provide updated consignment details. The vessel will maintain usual Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier and Tauranga export calls on this voyage. Tianjin Bridge 147/148 schedule on the current rotation is revised as follows, subject to berth availability:
