Kiwirail line maintenance: Railing Delays

11/7/2022

Dear Valued Customer:

Please see below received from Port of Tauranga regarding expected railing delays.

***

Due to an extended block on line over the Matariki long weekend for scheduled Kiwirail line maintenance we currently have an increase to our delivery profile.  Kiwirail and the TCT rail team are working together and additional services are being run to reduce the back log that has resulted from this extended block of line as quickly as possible.

Requests for ETA of containers can not be provided at this stage but an indication of potential rail date is as per below.  Priority will be given to Reefer, Hazardous, cargo self managed as priority prior to arrival and oldest cleared cargo in the yard.  As such, units not cleared prior to arrival can expect further delays.

20’ *average* of 8 days post discharge

40’ *average* of 11 days post discharge
