Reduced Metroport Shuttle Services 1st - 2nd of September

Please see below notice received from Ports of Tauranga

Kiwi Rail will be undertaking maintenance work on the North Island Main Trunk Line ( NIMT ) on the 1st and 2nd of September. This will result in a partial closure of the NIMT for approximately 48 hours.

Unfortunately this closure will result in significantly reduced services running between MetroPort and Tauranga on the 1st and 2nd of September.

We are working with Kiwi Rail to provide as much capacity as possible prior to this period, with a focus on maximising export capacity to Tauranga Container Terminal as well as delivery of prioritised import cargo to MetroPort.

There will be an overall reduced amount of capacity available through this period.

Our apologies for any inconvenience caused from this required outage.
