Operational Update - Rail Trucks Maintenance Work

Please see below notification received from Ports of Auckland this afternoon.

Good Afternoon, 

KiwiRail have notified us that they will be undertaking some regular track maintenance work, on the rail grid at Ports of Auckland, in the coming weeks and months.  

Accordingly, services on the following dates are cancelled.

• Saturday 17 November 2018
• Sunday 18 November 2018
• Wednesday 28 November 2018
• Thursday 29 November 2018
• Wednesday 5 December 2018
• Thursday 6 December 2018
• Sunday 9 February 2019
• Sunday 10 February 2019 

We understand that these service cancellations may cause some inconvenience, however unfortunately to maintain a reliable service overall, maintenance is necessary. 

We trust that with this advance notice you will be able to plan and work with transport providers to move cargo efficiently at these times.
