BR International has been informed by several shipping lines of their intention to implement another Rate Restoration on the 1^st September 2016.

 

This follows on from the USD100.00 per TEU & USD200.00 FEU rate increase instigated from 1^st August 2016.

 

We have received notices of intention from the following carriers;

Maersk Line – USD200.00 per TEU & USD400.00 per FEU

Hamburg SUD – USD200.00 per TEU & USD400.00 per FEU

OOCL – USD250.00 per TEU & USD500.00 per FEU

PIL – USD250.00 per TEU & USD500.00 per FEU

 

ANL, NYK, HAPAG Lloyd, COSCO, MSC & MOL are yet to advise their intention regarding rate increases.

The majority of carriers are reporting a shortage of space on vessels to New Zealand as we enter the Peak Season.

 

We will update you further once carriers have confirmed there rates for September 2016.
